ABOUT EMH

With 17 years as an NHL player, Ethan brings a breadth of experience to EMH camps. Besides being the captain of the Edmonton Oilers for 3 years, Ethan was also the team MVP in 2004 and the King Clancy Award (exemplifying leadership on and off the ice) recipient in 2009.

 

Ethan’s post-playing career saw him join the Montreal Canadiens organization as a pro hockey scout. Following his time in Montreal, Ethan was the Skills Development Coach at the Pegula Sports Hockey Academy in Buffalo, NY, and was an Assistant Coach with Niagara University NCAA Division 1 Men’s Hockey Team.

Ethan was an active participant with the Edmonton Oilers Foundation, which assists with numerous charitable causes. Ethan served on the Board of the Stollery Children’s Hospital, which serves children in Western Canada. On three occasions, he received community service awards from the Oilers for his outreach. Currently, Ethan assists with the ‘Hockey Helps the Homeless’ charity.
